Project management and virtual assistance for artists, orgs & businesses.
Ambrose Murray, Principal
I am an artist who also grew up in the back corner of nonprofit board meetings, eavesdropping on strategic planning sessions. I have always loved listening to other people’s ideas and building systems to make them into reality.
I have over ten years of experience working in the arts & culture sector, both as an artist and arts professional. I received my BA from Yale University with a concentration in Arts & Culture. I studied Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins in London, and received my Masters in Fine Arts from the Yale School of Art in Painting & Printmaking.
As a consultant and cultural strategist, I use the skills from years of building and supporting creative projects to guide businesses and individuals in planning, admin, operations and research in arts & culture.
Our Story
Viola Studios is named after my maternal great-great-great grandmother, Viola, from Central Florida. Both sides of my family are brimming with entrepreneurs and dreamers, creatives in their own sense who, for generations, have insisted on working for themselves and carving their own paths forward. Viola Studios is inspired by this ethos of creativity, self-making and forward motion.
Grandma Viola (far left) was feisty and loved to garden.
